Everyone is saying the same thing about the Swansea Christmas Parade

It may only be the middle of November but Swansea's epic Christmas parade has got everyone feeling full-on festive. With Santa, Elsa, superheroes, and even The Grinch heading through the streets of Swansea the event truly turned on the magic in the city and everyone seems to have felt it. People who attended the parade in different capacities had nothing but good things to say.

A user on X, Rhiannon Morris, said on Sunday: “The Swansea Christmas parade was wonderful this evening! ! What a fabulous way to start the festive celebrations!”

Another user remarked on Facebook about how much children liked the parade. They wrote: “We’ve honestly had the most special night. Swansea’s Christmas parade was one of the most magical things we’ve ever been too I can’t believe how amazing it was for the kids!!!”

The feeling of amazement for children wasn’t limited as Katrina Stolzenburg chimed in on Facebook, writing: “Swansea Christmas parade was lovely even though we missed the beginning , I didn’t take any photos but I pinched these off the kids , they had a lovely time Christmas songs playing in the car to get them that but more excited !!!! It’s the season to be jolly”

While rain started pouring in the midst of festivities it did not deter those enjoying the view of the parade. Facebook user Onyinye Ozioko wrote: "Under the rain or whatever the parade must go on and we must be there to watch, what a nice evening."

Another Facebook user, Michelle Selmanaj, described her "amazing" day at the parade. She wrote: “Oh my gosh, what an amazing afternoon/ evening yesterday. We headed into Swansea, walked around the town, got a bit to eat and watched the Swansea Christmas parade. Had a bit of rain but that wasn't stopping us. The boys loved it.”

Leader of Swansea Council Rob Stewart thanked those who helped organise the parade and said: "Huge thanks to the events, culture, and city centre council teams for tonight’s amazing Swansea Christmas parade 2024. Yet again the biggest and best free Christmas parade in Wales."
