Eva Longoria Professionalized the Groufit in a Slouchy Three-Piece Suit
A masterclass in easy business dressing.
Leave it to Eva Longoria to take a slouchy suit and make it feel polished and sophisticated. On Tuesday, the actress and director attended the SCAD Savannah Film Festival in a gray three-piece suit consisting of baggy trousers and an oversized matching blazer layered over a button-up vest. She paired the charcoal-colored suit, which doubled as an elevated groufit, with chunky translucent earrings, a couple of simple rings, and sheer black pointy-toed heels.
She slicked her hair back into a tight bun and opted for a simple glam look that included feathered lashes and a peach lip.

During the event, Longoria attended a panel after a screening of her feature film directorial debut, Flamin' Hot. During the Q&A portion, Longoria was honored with the Discovery Director Award, according to Savannah's WJCL ABC.
In a previous interview with InStyle, Longoria spoke about the film and why she felt drawn to directing it. “‘I have to be the one to tell the story,’” she said. “I felt ownership about it. I felt like I was Richard Montañez. I've been told no a million times for many reasons. I've been told, ‘No, ideas don't come from people like you,’ and, 'No, you’re a woman, maybe you shouldn't direct.'"
“Authenticity was absolutely my North Star,” she added. “We got to get this right. We don't see the Mexican-American community all the time on the big screen, so if we do, let's get it right.”
She also touched on the lack of diversity in Hollywood saying that the industry is not as progressive as it seems to the outside. “We’re like any other industry — there's no gender parity, not even close,” she said. “Not only are we not close, we're going in the wrong direction. I think the illusion is that Hollywood is very progressive.”
