'Enjoy au naturel': Nude cruise sets sail. Here's how to get onboard in 2026.
You could spend your next cruise catching some sun on an open deck – without worrying about tan lines.
The 2025 Big Nude Boat cruise, a clothing-optional sailing from Miami, Florida to the Caribbean sets sail on Monday. And while it may be too late to board this year, travelers can still snag a spot on the 2026 installment.
“Every February our Big Nude Boat sails the warm waters of the Caribbean to visit exotic tropical islands, historic ports full of local culture, and – with any luck – an exclusive stop at the cruise line’s private island for our bare cruisers to enjoy au naturel,” travel company Bare Necessities Tour & Travel said on its website.
When is the 2026 Big Nude Boat cruise?
The 11-night cruise will sail round-trip from Miami on Feb. 9, 2026, aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Pearl ship. The vessel can accommodate around 2,300 guests at double occupancy, according to Norwegian’s website.
What can guests expect?
Passengers will visit Curacao, Aruba, Jamaica and more, along with two stops at Norwegian’s private Bahamas destination, Great Stirrup Cay.
Guests – who must be 21 or older by embarkation – can go without clothes in many onboard spaces, including the buffet, according to an online FAQ page. But they have to cover up at certain times, such as when the ship is docked alongside in port or while eating in dining rooms.
“Please sit on a towel at all times while nude, in a G-string, thong, or any time you are bare-bottomed,” the website reads. The company also differentiated the charter from swingers cruises.
“Bare Necessities cruises are not sexual,” the website reads. “If you are seeking a lifestyle/swinger cruise, we are not the right product for you.”
How much does the Big Nude Boat cruise cost?
The 2026 cruise starts at $2,000 per person based on double occupancy, according to its website. The company’s large ship charter fares include many meals onboard, drinks like coffee, juice and tea, and more.
“As always, it’s our pleasure to provide you with the luxury of deciding what not to wear,” Bare Necessities Tour & Travel said.
