Hannah Waddington from Ted Lasso shared her condolences for the Royal family after Queen Elizabeth II's passing, at last night's Emmy awards [12 September].

After the likes of David Beckham and Leona Lewis took to social media to pay their respects, the actor was asked about Her Majesty's death on the 74th Emmy Awards red carpet by Variety.

"It makes me emotional to think about it," the 48-year-old replied (via Metro). "I sat with my dad on the sofa and I watched it all night until I couldn’t keep my eyes open because I couldn’t believe it. It is like a grandmother dying.

"It hit me far worse than I thought it would and the enormous pressure that our king [Charles III] has on his shoulders now."
