Emmerdale legends to take on Coronation Street rivals in ultimate grudge match - here's how you can get tickets
A team of Emmerdale stars are set to face rivals from Coronation Street in the ultimate soap grudge match.
Thousands of fans from across the UK will be flocking to the AO Netball Manchester Live event on Sunday, March 16. On a day of three big games, the four-times Netball Super League champions Manchester Thunder will open their 2025 season, the start of a new era for the competition, by meeting the reigning champions Loughborough Lightning at 6.30pm.
Before that, at 5pm, it’s a battle of soapland as acting stars and crew from Emmerdale will face-off against their Corrie rivals. They will compete to lift the Soap Challenge Trophy.

Vicky Monk, Group Marketing Director at AO, said: “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to help Manchester Thunder secure the AO Arena for the third year running, to allow thousands of fans to watch this huge game with a mega atmosphere.
“A key focus of our partnership with Manchester Thunder is to help them raise the profile of netball and inspire young people to take part in sport, and these annual games at the AO Arena are a massive part of that journey.
As well as the AO Netball Manchester Live game, there will also be a brand-new tournament – the Netball Super Cup – which will be held on International Women’s Day (Saturday, March 8), when all eight teams in the Super League will head to Utilita Arena Sheffield to vie for the first trophy of the season.
