Emmerdale airs mysterious cliffhanger for Cain Dingle and Caleb Miligan

Emmerdale has aired a mysterious cliffhanger for Cain Dingle and Caleb Miligan.
The brothers recently made an excuse to take a trip to Holland — supposedly for a car consignment deal — though the real reason behind their trip remains to be seen.
Moira has suspected her husband and his half-brother were trying to settle the score with local gangster Harry, who unbeknownst to them has started dating their sister Chas Dingle under a false identity.
Caleb reappeared in the village earlier this week to comfort Chas following a row with Mandy and Paddy, making out that everything had gone well on the trip.

Thursday's (October 5) double bill revealed that nothing could be further from the truth because Cain and Caleb have a dark secret locked in the abandoned farmhouse.
They'd brought a classic car back, supposedly as proof of their consignment deal. Caleb was none too pleased by the expense but Caleb reminded him Moira had been "like a dog with a bone".
"There it is. Solid proof. Where we were, what we got up to," Caleb insisted.
Later, Caleb turned down an offer to come over to Moira and Cain's for dinner because he supposedly had a business meeting at the same time.

The two snuck off to the abandoned farmhouse instead, where Cain thanked Caleb for going along with him on the trip. Caleb next went to work boarding up all of the windows in the farmhouse.
The camera shifted positions so viewers could see someone locked inside the farmhouse and banging on the door. Caleb and Cain casually drove off, agreeing to return "the same time tomorrow".
