Emma Stone's Louis Vuitton red dress was overflowing with... popcorn?

Ask any woman and she'll tell you a dress with pockets is a BIG deal. A dress? *With* pockets? Big enough to actually fit things in so I don't have to schlepp a bag around with me all day? Incredible! Yep, it remains a mystery and a point of endless frustration why more women's clothing doesn't offer such practicalities.

So, when we saw Emma Stone's dress that she wore to SNL50: The Anniversary Special last night [Sunday 16 February] celebrating 50 years of Saturday Night Live, you bet we were excited. Walking the red carpet alongside her husband Dave McCary, a former SNL writer, Emma's custom Louis Vuitton dress featured two deep-set pockets positioned on each hip. The best part? The fact Emma had filled her pockets with popcorn that she (and her fellow guests!) proceeded to snack on throughout the evening.

Yep, she served in more ways than one.

Pockets aside, the dress also featured a halter neckline, open back and a wrap skirt that revealed a central leg slit all in a vivid red hue, the same shade as classic cinema seats. Coordinating red satin open-toe heels also from Louis Vuitton and gold wire star-shaped earrings completed the look, with a box of popcorn appropriately taking the place of a bag. Because as we mentioned above, who needs a bag when you've got pockets big enough to hold your phone, keys and a lipstick? AKA all the essentials.

Social media users were also loving the look, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share their love for Emma's ensemble.

Safe to say, Emma's dress redefines drool-worthy fashion. It's cute and quirky and easily one of our fave red carpet 'fits ever.
