Since Donald Trump was elected President, tons of celebrities have showed their support for the groups targeted by his old-fashioned policies.

And last night’s Oscars was no different. Emma Stone hit headlines for her Best Actress win along with her stunning golden flapper dress by Givenchy.

What many failed to notice was the small badge pinned to her gorgeous gown. The actress was in fact wearing the logo of Planned Parenthood; a women’s rights organisation that has been badly hit by anti-abortion activism.

Dakota Johnson also supported the charity by pinning the same logo to her Gucci clutch.

The organisation tweeted its thanks to the two actresses, encouraging others to buy and proudly wear the gold badges.

This wasn’t the only political statement that occurred at the ceremony. Other stars including Ruth Negga and Busy Philipps donned blue ribbons on their dresses in solidarity with the American Civil Liberties Union.

Staying quiet is certainly no longer an option in Hollywood.
