1. To make the table look welcoming and beautiful at Christmas I do as my Mum and my grandmothers did before me which is to produce the special pieces of china, some of which have been put carefully away since last year, such as a well loved platter for the turkey. This year I think will add some of our tiny pottery personalised decorations (from £14.95) to use as table place names.

2. China with a Christmas flavour has always been a vital ingredient for me at Christmas. Every year we produce a traditional red and green pattern with a nostalgic feel that fits nicely on the Christmas table. New for this year, the Christmas Star Baker (£59.95) will be used again and again.

3. Holly Wreath turns the table into one lovely wreath with oranges, holly and fir cones – our idea of an ideal winter scene in front of a proper fire. The range features lovely tureens (£39.95), sure to make a statement on a Christmas table.

4. I love the oranges serving bowl (£34.95), the shape is incredibly useful, and it works well on its own or paired with our wintery Holly Wreath range. The pattern was inspired by a homemade marmalade every winter, something Matthew and I can't do without.

5. Packed in beautiful gold boxes, our Three Kings set of mugs in gold (£54.95) make a gorgeous glittery gift.

6. This year I'll be eating heaps of mince pies off our Christmas Reindeer plates (£22.95).

7. Our Bright Animals range (£19.95) is a favourite of mine. These cheery mugs come in illustrated boxes. Anyone would love to open one of these, but mind you send the right animal to the right person.
