Emily Ratajkowski's beachy balayage in her bikini selfie is incred
Maybe it's the promise of a bit of sun (and a Spritz in a pub garden), maybe it's the reopening of hair salons in the UK, but I've started to see gorgeous balayage and highlights everywhere I look.
Even the likes of taylor swift to Michelle Keegan got on board this week.
And the latest person to hop on board the trend seems to be Emily Ratajkowski, who in the past 12-18 months has cycled through everything from pumpkin spice hair to platinum blonde, even pastel pink and beyond.

Emily posted a shot to her instagram advertising her swimwear label @inamoratawoman, wearing an animal print beige and black teeny bikini, posing against a backdrop of the cuuuutest pink living room suite. She also posted another shot to her grid sporting further items from her latest swimwear line.
But most importantly, could we just take a look at Emily's effortlessly chic, sunkissed hair? Her natural dark colour is lifted with the prettiest caramel balayage, complete with halo highlights around the face - the perfect summery look.
And it's also a clever move for Emily - balayage doesn't need regular top-ups in the salon (i.e. it's suuuuper low maintenance), and it's also the perfect way to add texture to fine hair if you're seeking a volume boost.
Anyone else suddenly got an overwhelming urge to be slathering on sunscreen, even on a chilly British beach? Because I'd take anything right now...
