Following an unseasonably long summer – during which we were treated to endless pics of our fave celebs rocking their teeniest, tiniest bikinis, micro shorts, crop tops and naked dresses – autumn has officially arrived. But it's not all doom and gloom, because with it come the gorge cosy jumpers and coats that have been hiding in the back of our wardrobes for far too long.

Indeed, for many fashion lovers, the colder seasons are a decidedly more exciting time. Namely, because the need for layers means the styling options are genuinely endless, and outfits so much more fun to assemble. And you might be surprised to learn that one person who *always* gets it right is Emily Ratajkowski.

Yep, she might be better known for her love of see-through dresses and outfits made up largely of lingerie, but the model is a pro at off-duty autumn dressing too. Her latest street style look is the perfect example:

Spotted on the streets of NYC yesterday, Em went full cold-weather chic in an XXL grey tailored coat, paired with slouchy trousers, a plain black top, trainers and sunnies. Granted, it's not a 'fit that gets pulses racing quite as much as her fave Burberry slip or latest totally see-through dress – but actually, we think we might prefer it. Why? Because it's something we can actually copy, and genuinely want to wear at this time of year.

Em's latest look is proof that we're not the only ones who can't wait to slip into something super slouchy and cosy the literal second temps get chilly. Even better, oversized coats have been officially proclaimed as *the* hottest outerwear of the autumn/winter 2023 season – so copying EmRata's look is not just delightfully comfy, but bang on trend too. Now that's something we can seriously get behind.
