To mark Glastonbury's 50th anniversary, festival co-organiser Emily Eavis shares the music you should add to your playlist now
Emily Eavis is one of the most influential women in music. The daughter of Glastonbury founder, Michael Eavis, Emily is responsible for the festival's modern incarnation. She shapes and curates the legendary line-ups, which have previously included The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé and Stormzy. This year marks Glastonbury's 50th birthday, but the pandemic sadly put a stop to any celebrations - we'll have to wait until 2021 for what will undoubtedly be a banner year for the legendary festival.
To tide us over, Eavis tells us which female artists to add to your playlist now, from Jamaican reggae stars to London-born neo-soul singers.
