While the Duchess of Sussex's Givenchy wedding dress by Claire Waight Keller was not loved by everyone, designer Emilia Wickstead went one step further in her critique of the dress, suggesting it was a copy of one of her own bridal designs.

Wickstead is a designer that the Duchess of Cambridge frequently wears. And the Duchess of Sussex wore one of Wickstead's dresses during Anzac Day, for the Westminster service.

"Her dress is identical to one of our dresses," Wickstead told The Daily Mail. "Apparently a lot of commentators were saying, 'It’s an Emilia Wickstead dress.'" Wick stead may be referring to this dress, which her team posted on her bridal Instagram account after the Royal Wedding.

Wickstead also went on to critique the fit of the dress in rather blunter terms than Katy Perry. "If you choose a simple design the fit should be perfect," she said. Her wedding dress was quite loose." Wickstead went on to comment on the bride's messy bun: "I was like, 'Hold the wisps [of her hair] back-it’s a Royal Wedding for God’s sake.'"
