Delivery food app, Deliveroo has proved to be a valuable resource for customers during the lockdown.

As supermarket delivery slots continue to be scarce and physically going into a store isn’t a possibility for everyone, it has teamed up with supermarkets to deliver a selection of essential items such as bread and milk from Marks and Spencer, Aldi, Co-op and Morrisons.

The app has also launched its own range called "essentials by Deliveroo". It is offering products such as pasta, tinned good, biscuits, juices, cereals and household cleaning items to ensure as many people as possible can access the food they need.

Item prices do vary, but they will be similar to the local convenience stores. It is currently available across Brighton, Nottingham, Manchester, and Cambridge, with more cities to follow.

From 23-24 May, Muslims in the UK will be celebrating Eid-al Fitr, the Islamic festival which marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting. Traditionally it is celebrated with a big meal and visiting friends and family.

However, as the lockdown continues large gatherings are still now allowed. As a result, Deliveroo has teamed up with restaurants and supermarkets around the country to deliver Eid celebration bundles to help ensure it’s as safe as possible, without even needing to leave your house to stock up your kitchen cupboards ahead of time.

The bundles will be available to order from the following 42 towns and cities across the UK (where Deliveroo currently provides coverage): London, Leicester, Brighton, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Worcester, Reading, Southend on Sea, Coventry, Cardiff, Peterborough, Windsor, Birmingham, Guildford, Camberley, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Derby, Canterbury, Maidstone, Nottingham, Ipswich, Crawley, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Brentwood, Southampton, Luton, Chatham, Glasgow, Cambridge, Hemel Hempstead, Royal Leamington Spa, Cheltenham, Stevenage, Milton Keynes, Hereford, Bedford, Gravesend, Harlow, Grays and Eastbourne.

Here we've rounded up some of the eateries and supermarkets that will be offering Ramadan bundles on the app.
