EastEnders stars Molly Rainford and Jamie Borthwick enjoy night away from Albert Square at Wicked musical
Soap stars including Molly Rainford and Jamie Borthwick swapped the East End for the West End as they enjoyed a night out at musical Wicked.
The EastEnders cast took an evening off from gritty storylines and got to relax in the audience instead as they attended the gala night for hit show Wicked on Thursday evening.
Stars including Molly, Jamie, Shane Richie and Zaraah Abrahams walked the green carpet at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre ahead of the performance, looking happy to have some time away from the drama of Albert Square.
Molly, who stars in the BBC soap as Anna Knight, looked stylish and relaxed in matching beige cargo trousers and a cropped top, paired with a long black coat and chunky white trainers.
The 23 year old was joined by her boyfriend, presenter Tyler West, who she met while they were both taking part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 and the couple posed smiling together on their theatre date night.
But Molly and Tyler's date night also included a long list of her EastEnders co-stars who were on the guest list for Wicked's gala night.
Jamie Borthwick plays Walford's Jay Brown who has been going through a heartbreaking time in the soap since losing Lola, and Jamie was enjoying a well-earned night with his feet up after running the London Marathon for charity last weekend, including filming some parts in character for EastEnders scenes.
Alongside him on the theatre's green carpet was Max Bowden, who was reunited with his old cast mates after his EastEnders character Ben Mitchell's recent exit from the soap. Ben was arrested for committing credit card fraud in the series and has been sentenced to six years in prison.
The EastEnders roll call continued, with soap veteran Shane Richie looking happy to have a night out as his character Alfie Moon has faced a prostate cancer battle this year.
Zaraah Abrahams was also enjoying a well-deserved night away from her Albert Square alter ego Chelsea Fox, who has been having a tough time with mum Denise's breakdown over Keanu's murder.
But while EastEnders fans could be forgiven for thinking the gala night had been put on just for the cast of the soap, there were plenty of other stars on the green carpet for Wicked.
Steps star Faye Tozer opened up on her love of musicals when she took part in Strictly and looked thrilled to be at the show, while comedian Harry Hill was also on the guest list.
Also spotted were S Club 7 co-stars Bradley McIntosh and Jon Lee, who posed with their arms around each other.
