Eamonn Holmes sparks health concerns as host leaves GB News live on air

GB News viewers were left concerned after presenter Eamonn Holmes suddenly disappeared from the show today.

Eamonn, who recently opened up about his health struggles at the TRIC Awards, was present at the start of the programme alongside his co-host Isabel Webster.

However, he suddenly vanished, prompting worried viewers to take to social media.

One fan tweeted: "@GBNEWS where's @EamonnHolmes gone? No explanation? " while another exclaimed: "He has just disappeared. Maybe he is unwell."

A third asked: "@EamonnHolmes are you OK. Bit worried you disappeared and nobody said a word. . Stay Blessed." (sic)

Someone else quizzed: "@IsabelWebster_What happened to @EamonnHolmes today! One minute he was presenting, the next he just vanished. Hope he’s okay."

Another worried viewer echoed: "@EamonnHolmes are you ok? You keep disappearing xx I worry xxxxx." (sic)

The 64-year-old's absence comes after he admitted he was "not okay" at the TRIC Awards, where he and Webster collected the award for Best Breakfast Show, reports the Express.

The former ITV host arrived at the ceremony in a wheelchair and used sticks for support on stage, revealing that recent operations on his spine and hips have significantly impacted his mobility.

He even confessed to feeling "on borrowed time", as his father tragically died from a heart attack at the age of 65.

The presenter shared that his declining mobility had made him hesitant to attend the awards show, but a new wheelchair gave him the confidence to make an appearance.

Eamonn has faced a series of personal and health challenges, including a split from his wife Ruth Langsford after 14 years of marriage and nearly 30 years together. The TV presenter has been battling chronic pain since undergoing a double hip replacement in 2016, which didn't bring the relief he had hoped for.

He's continued to endure poor circulation, cramps, and severe back pain caused by three slipped discs since 2021. Despite undergoing spinal surgery, a subsequent fall at home resulted in a broken shoulder, leading Eamonn to express fears that he might never walk unaided again.

Yet, support for Eamonn is strong, with Christine McGuinness seen lending a helping hand at the TRIC Awards.
