Dwayne Johnson may be one of the busiest stars in Hollywood, but he still had enough time to escort a young fan to prom.

Well at least the fan – only known as Mel – brought a cardboard cutout of the former WWE star to her school dance.

She posted several photos of her and the cutout enjoying the end-of-year celebrations – and then was even more delighted when Johnson re-shared her posts.

She posted: "Thank you @therock for taking me to prom. I had so much fun. Best date a person could ask for. #dwanejohnson #therock #prom #prom2022 #promnight #itsaboutdriveitsaboutpower"

Johnson shared the images Mel had posted to her @smilesweetsraccoon Instagram account with his cardboard cutout wearing a pink tuxedo which complemented her stunning lilac prom dress, writing: "It was absolutely my honor @smilesweetraccoon and you were the best prom date EVER!!! Great to meet your family and friends too. PS I'm super happy you posted this! Have the best summer dj"

Fans were quick to praise the star, with one replying to his post: "How adorable truly. The rocks generosity knows no bounds."

Another posted: "A true gentleman." While a third wrote: "You are the best Dwayne."

Even though Johnson's cardboard cutout was able to enjoy a night out with one of his biggest fans, the Jungle Cruise actor himself has remained quite busy in recent months.

He recently finished filming on DC League of Super-Pets which is set for release in July.

Meanwhile, his daughter Simone is about to follow in his footsteps and make her pro-wrestling debut.
