The Duchess of Sussex is no stranger to recycling favourite pieces from her wardrobe – in fact, she did this for most of her recent tour of South Africa – and tonight, Meghan chose to rewear two very memorable pieces we have seen her in before.

For the Wellchild Awards, which she attended alongside husband Harry in London this evening, the duchess opted to wear the green dress she chose to announce her engagement in and paired it with the camel coat she wore for her first Christmas Day in Sandringham.

Meghan's sleeveless green shift dress is from Parosh and features a thin belted bow detail at the waist. The royal wore it underneath a white dressing gown-inspired coat as she posed for pictures with Harry after the two announced their engagement, revealing more of the dress when they were interviewed by the BBC inside Kensington Palace.

For the awards this evening, Meghan teamed it with a camel coat by Sentaler that she wore for her first Christmas Day in Sandringham. The duchess also owns the same style of coat in a bright red colour –which she wore with a purple dress when she visited Birkenhead earlier this year.

For her final touches to the look, the duchess opted for her trusty brown Manolo Blahnik court shoes and a very chic handbag by It label Montunas, which features a silk scarf handle and tortoiseshell, boxy shape to it.

This event marks Meghan and Harry's first public appearance together since returning from their tour of South Africa. The Wellchild Awards celebrates the qualities of the UK’s seriously ill children and young people, along with those who go that extra mile to make a difference to their lives. The couple also attended last year.
