The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, 58, spoke with nurses in seven different Commonwealth countries on Tuesday to mark International Nurses Day.
The duo spoke to healthcare workers via video call in Sierra Leona, Australia, India, Cyprus and the Bahamas, as well as nurses in London at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, of which the Duchess of Cambridge is Patron.
Several members of the Royal Family, including The Queen, Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall and Princess Margaret also took part in the video to mark the day, which was shared on Kensington Palace’s Twitter account.
The Duchess of Cambridge put on a bright display as she shared her appreciation for nurses across the globe in a sky blue patterned Altuzarra dress, which had black and white polka dots emblazoned on the front.
Meanwhile, Sophie opted for a forest green dress, complete with gold earrings.

Speaking in the call, the Duchess of Cambridge said: “I don’t know how you manage to do this and keep the show on the road despite the extra pressures you're all under and the challenging conditions.”
“It’s just shown how vital the role that nurses play across the world. You should be so proud of the work that you do."
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice Kate had previously worn the designer dress, which had retailed for £1,700.
Back in 2016 the mother-of-three first wore the patterned v-neck design when she visited Steward's Academy in Harlow, London.
Now, four years later Prince William’s wife has recycled the statement piece.
Although the dress is sadly no longer available to buy from the luxury label, we have found a selection of alternative designs so you can emulate Kate’s look.
