The Duchess of Cambridge brightened up our day with her vibrant ensemble for her first royal engagement following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Oprah Winfrey interview.

The 39-year-old royal opted for a bright pink jumper, and matching coat, as she visited School21 in east London on 11 March, after it re-opened following the easing of lockdown restrictions, which had seen schools close in recent weeks, although some remained open for the children of key workers.

Duchess Catherine and her husband Prince William's visit coincides with the roll out of Mentally Healthy Schools resources for secondary schools, which aims to focus on mental health within the schools' curriculum.

Catherine turned to her go-to high street brand Boden for the occasion, as she wore the Hambleden Scallop Jumper in Azalea (a bold pink hue) for the outing.

The mum-of-three paired the knitwear with a matching statement pink coat, black flare trousers, and accessorised with a black quilted clutch bag and chain hoop earrings, which we believe are from affordable jewellery brand Orelia.

Making sure to follow government guidelines during the pandemic, the duchess wore a pink floral printed face mask from Amaia, which she has previously worn on other royal engagements.

If you want to get your hands on the royal's latest high street number, the Boden jumper is still available to buy online (but we doubt it will be for much longer).

Buy it: Hambleden Scallop Jumper | £65 from Boden

The Hambleden Scallop Jumper is made from merino wool and cotton blend, which is soft to the touch.

The garment boasts a semi-fitted shape, which is flattering for the wearer. Boden has paid extra attention to detail and made the classic crew neck jumper that little bit more feminine and stylish with the delicate scallop detail on the neckline and cuff.

The design comes in seven colours: green, black, cream, chartreuse, black, navy, and, of course, Kate's pink, all of which are available in sizes 6 to 22.

The jumper is an affordable £65, and if the past few weeks are anything to go by, it will sell out fast.

Earlier this week for a virtual Zoom call with the youngest rower to sail across the Atlantic solo the duchess wore a floral printed blouse by Boden, which sold out within hours of her appearance.

In November 2020, the Duchess of Cambridge also wore a sky blue Abercorn Scallop Cardigan by the high street store.

While the £75 number has sold out numerous times since it was Kate-approved, it has recently been restocked and released in several new colours.
