My Honest Review of the Beautiful By Drew Frozen Meals

Citrus Chicken With Broccoli & Carrots

This dish keeps it classic and wholesome—it was my favorite of the bunch! Juicy and tender breaded chicken breast is topped with a generous drizzle of vibrant citrus glaze, and served alongside steamed broccoli florets and sweet carrots. I was impressed by how well the chicken stayed coated with breadcrumbs after microwaving and slicing. The entire dish is well seasoned and not overly salted. The carrots and broccoli are surprisingly fresh (you wouldn't guess this was frozen!) and perfectly tender. The citrus flavor isn’t overpowering, but brings a sweet and savory balance to the dish as a whole.

Meatloaf With Vegetables

Ground beef is infused with a savory blend of spices for a classic, nostalgic meatloaf that's actually moist and well-seasoned. It's accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes, and smothered in a rich, marinara-style red sauce. This is the perfect comfort food option after a long and busy day!

Pro tip: Add one minute to the suggested cook time to ensure the meatloaf is entirely heated through.

Creamy Parmesan & Basil Chicken Pasta

This meal invites you to savor the flavor of traditional Italian-American cuisine! It features tender chicken breast, perfectly-cooked al dente pasta (which is hard to find in a frozen meal), and a rich and Parmesan basil sauce that has great flavor, but wasn't quite as creamy as I'd hoped for. But overall, it's a great option when you are craving your favorite Italian restaurant, but from the comfort of your very own home.

Taco Bowl

Taco Tuesday just got a whole lot easier! This has all the flavors of a classic beef taco—seasoned ground beef, black beans, corn, cheese and zesty salsa—all served over a bed of rice rather than in a tortilla or taco shell. I loved how vibrant and flavorful this option was, plus all the ingredients were perfectly balanced.

Pro tip: Sprinkle a little salt on this one. I was so happy these meals weren't overly salted as many frozen dinners are, but this one definitely needs a bit more to help the flavors shine.
