Dressed as Barbie, Kelsea Ballerini Hosts a Halloween Bash in Celebration of Brand Ambassadorship With The Original Donut Shop Coffee
Kelsea Ballerini rang in her new partnership with The Original Donut Shop Coffee on Wednesday, hosting a Halloween party alongside the popular Keurig brand. Dressed in her Barbie best, the Grammy-nominated country artist celebrated her favorite holiday with a costume contest.
“Halloween is a fun time where you can just play pretend for a night,” she told WWD. The occasion brings back memories for Ballerini, who fondly remembers dressing up as a child. “I had a big trunk full of thrift shop finds and my playtime was just getting all glam, playing in my mom’s makeup and wearing all these fun costumes.”

It’s been a busy year for the singer, whose Heartfirst Tour began last fall. Ballerini journeyed across North America in support of her 2022 album, “Subject to Change.” While on the road, she wrote her latest EP, “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat” an ode to the heartbreaking, yet liberating process of divorce. After nearly five years of marriage, Ballerini finalized her split from fellow country artist Morgan Evans in November.
“Traveling for a living means that every day looks very different,” said Ballerini. She’s learned to take pleasure in those rare moments of consistency, which is why teaming up with The Original Donut Shop felt like a perfect fit.
“I’m not a morning girl, which is why I’m a coffee girl,” she added. “Whether I’m home or on the road or in a hotel, it’s been such a constant, which is a luxury for me in this stage of my life.”
The beverage brand officially announced Ballerini as its first celebrity brand ambassador in September. She kicked off her multiyear partnership with a series of fan giveaways.
Now that Ballerini has wrapped up the final leg of her Heartfirst Tour, she’s focused on renovating her new Nashville pad, which she purchased from her good friend, Kacey Musgraves, last fall. So far, Ballerini’s pride and joy is her “chicken coop,” a lair she plans to use for drinking tequila and playing board games with her friends. The den’s eccentric decor includes a patchwork couch and varied patterns of wallpaper.
“I wanted everything to feel grown up except for one room,” she said. “There’s always a part of me that will love a little chaos.”
