Drake's album Her Loss submitted for Grammy Awards consideration

Drake's joint album with 21 Savage, Her Loss, has been submitted for Grammy consideration at the at the 2024 awards show.

According to The Hollywod Reporter, the album has been put forward for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.

The album's singles Rich Flex and Spin Bout U have also been submitted for consideration in five different award categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance.

The God's Plan rapper's collaborations with Travis Scott - titled Meltdown - and Young Thug - titled Oh U Want - have also been submitted.

Despite winning five Grammys throughout his career, the rapper has criticised the Recording Academy's nomination process.

He made headlines in 2017 when he skipped the show, and in 2022 after he withdrew his two rap nominations.

However, as The Hollywood Reporter notes, it's possible that people other than Drake and 21 Savage submitted Her Loss and its songs for Grammy consideration in 2024.

Drake recently released his eighth solo studio album, For All the Dogs, on 6 October.
