Dove Chocolate Is Coming for Reese’s With This New Holiday Shape
And, Kisses, watch your back, too!
It’s the holiday season and Santa Claus is coming ‘round—and so are dozens of new and festive food products. While we’re, of course, hyped for our favorite fast food restaurants’ holiday menus and holiday coffees, we really can’t contain our excitement about the new holiday goodies for baking and stocking stuffing.
If you know us, you know we go ga-ga for Reese’s holiday shapes—because, let’s face it, somehow they taste better than the still-delicious, regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. But, this year, Reese’s might be getting a run for its money thanks to a new offering from Dove Chocolate.
Dove Launches First-Ever Holiday Shape
For the first time, Dove is launching a Christmas-shaped candy—the Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Reindeer. The candy is made with milk chocolate and filled with creamy peanut butter. It’s similar to the fan-favorite Dove Promises Milk Chocolate & Peanut Butter candy, but with a festive twist as it's shaped like one of Santa’s furry reindeer friends.
You can get your hands on the chocolate-peanut butter reindeer candy bars now as they’re rolling out to retailers nationwide.
Alongside the new chocolate bar shape, Dove is releasing another holiday candy that, once again, could have a Hershey’s brand shaking in its boots.
Dove Releases New Holiday Flavor
Dove Promises (the little squares of chocolate) is launching a new flavor that will join its robust line of holiday chocolates. In addition to its Peppermint Bark Dark Chocolate flavor and package redesign as "Dove Gifts" for the Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and Caramel & Milk Chocolate flavors, Dove is adding a new Cherry Cordial flavor.
Much like the beloved Hershey’s Kisses Cherry Cordials, which come out around this time every year, Dove’s Cherry Cordial is filled with a tangy, sweet black cherry cordial filling and is coated in decadent milk chocolate. Bags of the new Promises are available at retailers nationwide now.
With all these new launches this early into the holiday season, it seems like Christmastime just keeps getting sweeter.
