Donald Trump Tweets His Condolences For The Wrong Mass Shooting
Close to midnight on Wednesday, Donald Trump tweeted his condolences for the victims of the Sutherland Springs, Texas, church shooting. That shooting happened on 7 November.
On Tuesday, multiple shooting victims were reported at and near a California elementary school.
Though the above-pictured tweet has since been deleted, it remained live until Wednesday morning. Many have since noticed Trump's tweet might be reflective of a template he has for shootings as he used the exact same language when news of the Texas shooting first broke.
Trump just tweeted again about the church shooting in Sutherland Springs. The 1st tweet was the day of the event, 9 days ago. Is this his shooting tweet template? He forgot to change the location to today's shooting: California. pic.twitter.com/IToC7UXkyP

No way. I thought people were joking. Donald Trump actually did tweet about the wrong mass shooting. Good lord. I know he's not the brightest, but it's wild we have such a big issue that POTUS can mix up the tragedies. pic.twitter.com/ec9ho0gUsJ

Since posting the tweet, Trump has tweeted about CNN ('bad and FAKE'), retweeted a poll by @TrumpFan1995 ('thank you, working hard!'), and addressed the return of three UCLA basketball players who were detained in China ('Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump?').
He has not yet addressed the California shooting.
