Don’t forget to buy your pet one of these Christmas stockings
Does that special someone in your life have four legs and fur? If so, those furry VIPs deserve their own stocking this Christmas.
We typically gift stockings full of lots of lovely presents to the other members in our family so (in theory) there’s no reason to leave out our dogs, cats, rabbits, or [insert other cute, small, fluffy animal].
Stockings can be a fun way of packaging up smaller gifts for your pet such as bones, balls, and treat pouches, and we love that many brands sell personalised designs, so the most important member of the family can have their own stocking hung alongside yours by the fireplace.
If buying and filling a stocking is a stretch too far among all the other gifts you have to organise, there’s no need to abandon all hope. Lots of brands sell pre-filled stockings containing a host of treats at fairly low prices.
We’ve picked out our favourite pre-filled and personalised pet Christmas stockings below and included some stocking filler ideas to help you on your way to being the ultimate pet parent.
Best pre-filled pet Christmas stockings
Holiday Dog Stocking
NutriPaw’s dog stocking contains 24 treats, so it could also be used as an advent calendar in the build-up to the big day.
Each treat is made of natural ingredients including sweet potato, carrot, broccoli and paprika, and they don’t contain any preservatives, grains, soy, or added sugar. Inside, you’ll find a mix of festive twirls, chewy balls, bones and dental chews to keep your pup happy on Christmas morning.
Deluxe Dog Christmas Stocking
Containing a mix of treats and toys, this dog Christmas stocking is great value for money.
They’ll receive squeaky toys and a rope for a festive tug of war, as well as four packets of chicken and beef flavoured treats. Just note, it’s aimed at medium-sized breeds so might not suit all dogs.
Christmas Festive Stocking
Using 40% less plastic packaging than last year, Pets at Home’s dog Christmas stocking has a cardboard structure with a more compact design. Inside, you’ll find both toys and treats, which don’t contain any artificial flavours or added sugars.
The treats come in fun, festive shapes, including Santa’s cookies and pigs in blankets so your dog will feel more involved in Christmas than ever before. And maybe they’ll stop drooling over your turkey.
Christmas Stocking Cat Treats
If your cat loves a treat, this stocking will ensure you’re stocked up for the festive period.
You’ll receive five bags of Dreamies in total, including two chicken-flavoured, one cheese, one salmon and one beef. There’s no turkey though so they may still give you side-eye while you’re eating your Christmas lunch.
Christmas Cat Stocking
This might be a budget buy but it’s still full of plenty of gifts your cat will love. There are three bags of treats: one pack of chicken-flavoured cookies, one of chicken and cod sandwich bites, and one bag of crunchy Christmas stars.
And if your cat loves the lure of catnip, they’ll adore the filled, soft gingerbread man toy.
Cupid & Comet Christmas Dinner Cat Stocking
Another stocking for catnip-loving kitties. The one includes two little catnip mouse toys for playtime as well as three Christmas dinner-themed bags of treats for when they get peckish.
Serve your furry friend a starter of salmon bites, a main of turkey strips, and a third course of cheese-flavoured biscuits.
Christmas Dog Treats
This stocking selection box is the dog equivalent of that Cadbury’s one (i.e. a must-buy for Christmas). All the treats are made with natural ingredients, and the stocking is completely free from plastic packaging, which gets a big thumbs up from us.
Your dog will only care about the tasty treats though, which include mince pie traybakes, gingerbread soft-baked sticks, pigs in blankets bites, and turkey and apple pieces.
Christmas Dog Stocking
While it’s not filled with any Christmas-themed specials, this stocking is packed with Pedigree’s best-selling products, which we’re sure your dog will love.
It includes one Jumbone with beef and poultry, one packet of beef Rodeos, one packet of chicken and duck chunks, and three Dentastix chews to keep your dog’s teeth healthy over the festive period.
GIANT Christmas Stocking Selection
This stocking selection is more pricey than other options in our list but it’s worth spending extra for these top-quality treats. They’re all homemade in Cornwall and contain plenty of goodies, including biscuits with 35% real minced beef and sausages with 35% pork meat.
There are even chocolate chip cookies with dog-friendly chocolate for dessert! It’s not all about the treats though, because your pooch will also receive a ball to keep them entertained.

Personalised and fill-yourself pet Christmas stockings
Let’s be honest, our pets are picky and they know exactly what they will and won’t eat so it could be worth filling your own stocking with all their favourites. A custom pet stocking is also more sustainable as you can re-use it again each year.
Personalised Cat Hessian Santa Stocking
We can’t quite get over how cute this personalised stocking is… Santa Paws will be on his way before we know it and this stocking is the perfect place to store your cat’s presents.
All you need to do is enter their name on the website when you order, and it will be printed onto the hessian stocking in red glittery letters. You can only enter up to nine characters though, so you may need to get creative if your pet has a fancy long name. But we imagine they have about 356 pet names, so you’ll be fine.
Personalised Embroidered Dog & Cat Christmas Stockings
Got a cat and a dog at home? Why not get them matching embroidered stockings to hang from the fireplace. Each one can be customised with your pet's name and boasts plenty of space for stuffing it full of treats and toys.
Personalised Dog Paw Christmas Stockings
We love how much you can customise this stocking. There are two different colour options (red tartan or blue-green tartan), as well as a choice of four different fonts for their name.
The main section of the stocking is made with a soft sherpa-style material too, which should complement your festive decor.
Personalised Family Pet Christmas Stocking
Made by a small business in the UK, this is a great value option for cat owners. You can choose between white writing or silver, gold, green and rose gold glitter designs (although these cost a little extra) to add that personal touch for your pet.
Personalised Fish Christmas Stocking For Cats
Just like the stocking above, this cat stocking features a fish theme and the option for personalisation. It’s made from a sustainable blend of jute and cotton, and the fish shape is outlined with a festive red trim. Just add your cat’s name (up to 14 characters) before you check out.
