Dolly Parton's 'Best Ever' Baking Lineup Has 5 New Products We Can’t Wait to Try
It's "love at first bite!"
Dolly Parton had a big 2024. From releasing her new cookbook, co-authored by her sister, to launching a cast iron pan collab with Lodge, the icon keeps dazzling us in new ways, in and out of the kitchen. Of course, in the kitchen is where we love her the most. Who doesn't dream of sitting with the Queen of Country over one of her delicious meals as she shares some of her wisdom?
We may not get to cook or eat alongside Dolly, but we can have the next best thing—using her brand-new baking mixes, plus an adorable addition to your weekend breakfast routine.
Dolly Parton's New Baking Mixes with Duncan Hines
Dolly just launched two new cake mixes and two new cookie mixes as part of her collab with Duncan Hines. They seem well-timed for the upcoming Valentine’s holiday.
Dolly’s Vanilla Flavored Cake Mix: Vanilla cake with a blend of traditional vanilla extract with a touch of Tahitian vanilla.
Dolly’s Strawberry Flavored Cake Mix: Strawberry cake that’s pink in color.
Dolly’s Sugar Cookie Mix: Easy-to-make sugar cookie mix makes 24 soft and chewy sugar cookies.
Dolly’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix: Easy-to-make chocolate chip cookie mix with both chocolate chips and chunks makes 24 soft and chewy cookies.
Mix and match these baking mixes with any of Dolly’s ready-to-spread vanilla or strawberry frostings, and you've got yourself some delicious options to treat your Valentine.
Dolly Parton's New Guitar-Shaped Pancake Syrup
If breakfast is more your thing, Dolly has you covered there too. Recently, she posted a video saying, “There’s nothing better than some fluffy buttermilk pancakes in the morning.” (Her charm and friendliness make us want to jump through the screen and into the kitchen to savor those pancakes with her.) “Wait, actually, there is,” she adds. “There’s buttermilk pancakes with my syrup. Is that the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen?” She’s referring to the syrup and its guitar-shaped bottle, one of the new products in her baking line.
Dolly and her guitar are synonymous, and the guitar shape has become one of her signatures, whether it's used for her cast iron skillet collection, printed on her partyware, or used as the shape for a whimsical pancake syrup bottle.
We also have to mention that her Buttermilk Pancake Mix fared pretty well in our taste test of 13 different store-bought mixes. Taking fourth place, the pancakes have “a soufflé-like texture and a sweet flavor that isn’t overwhelmed by the syrup, making each bite nicely balanced.”
You can find Dolly's new baking mixes and pancake syrup at major grocery stores nationwide and on the Baking with Dolly website. Whichever you choose, we're pretty sure you can't go wrong bringing some of that famous Dolly charisma into your kitchen.
