Dolly Parton Performs in Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Uniform at Thanksgiving Halftime Show

Anyone else busy passing out from a combination of turkey and pie yesterday, only to snap to attention due to Dolly Parton wandering onto their TV screens?

Dolly surprised everyone (kay, it wasn't actually a surprise due to previously being announced) during the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders Thanksgiving halftime show, and KILLED IT.

Not only did she perform perhaps her most famous song, "Jolene," she blessed everyone with "9 to 5," as well as a cover of Queen's "We Are the Champions." But the most iconic part? Dolly showing up in the exact same outfit as the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders: white short-shorts, a cropped blue button-up blouse, and a cropped fringe waistcoat. She also wore a bedazzled nude bodysuit underneath—complete with a star on her belly button.

FYI, this was technically The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show, and Dolly announced her performance with a sweet note about giving back:

“Wow! What an honor to get to kick off The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign with the halftime show during the Dallas Cowboys game this Thanksgiving,” she said via press release. “Those Red Kettles have long been a symbol of hope for our friends and neighbors who are facing hard times. My goal is to encourage everyone who can to donate and support their neighbors in need. Every small act of generosity helps, and together, we can all love our neighbors this holiday season and beyond.”

❤️ Dolly.
