Dolly Parton wasn't lying when she wrote these lyrics:

"I like to cook, and I love to bake
Bread and cookiеs and pies and cake."

The words are from her song "Berry Pie," which was included on a special Cracker Barrel Collector's Edition of her album "Backwoods Barbie" in 2008, long before the singer launched her own line of cake mixes and frostings in 2022.

Since then, the country music queen has been taking over grocery store shelves with new varieties of her baking mixes—cornbread, brownies, and biscuits came next—and frozen foods like mac and cheese and no-bake desserts. Dolly also launched a line of cast iron skillets with Lodge perfect for cooking her cornbread or a succulent steak. It seems Dolly has now taken over the food world just like she took over country music. She even has a new cookbook with her sister Rachel coming out later this year.

But before that cookbook arrives, she's launching another baking mix, which is now on grocery store shelves.

Dolly Parton’s Newest Baking Mix

The first sign of fall is not leaves turning on trees or kids returning to school. It’s the site of pumpkin-flavored food and drink in the store and at restaurants. And since it’s now August, store shelves will increasingly turn into pumpkin patches, and Dolly’s newest offering is one of the first to show up, with her signature pink baking mix box turning orange for her new Pumpkin Spice Cookie Mix.

The mix yields 24 soft and chewy pumpkin spice cookies that will be perfect for chilly fall days—or warm August nights if you’re impatient for fall to arrive. Dolly’s new mix is available at grocers nationwide, including Walmart (which happens to sell the perfect platter to serve Dolly’s Pumpkin Spice Cookies on, one with her beautiful smiling face on it).
