Dog groomer shows how one 'mean' breed are actually just 'giant babies'
Certain dog breeds often carry stereotypes about their temperament, and when a man filmed himself grooming a breed typically seen as intimidating, many quickly rushed to defend them as "big babies".
TikTok user @animalkingdomdoggrooming posted a video of himself grooming a Rottweiler, an often misunderstood breed known for its strength, which can make people wary, Express reports.
The PDSA notes that Rottweilers are "intelligent and active dogs that require plenty of things to keep them active in body and mind. Consistency is key with training.

They are incredibly strong, so shouldn't be left unsupervised with children. You'll need to have plenty of time to spend with your dog if you're considering this breed."
Rottweilers often face misconceptions about their temperament, with many seeing them as intimidating. But a recent video of the breed being groomed has proven that they can be gentle giants.
TikTok user @animalkingdomdoggrooming shared a heartwarming video of a Rottweiler named "big boy Zeus," showing just how calm and patient these dogs can be.
The grooming session began with the groomer giving Zeus affectionate pats on the head before bathing him to ensure his cleanliness.
The groomer worked through the dog's thick coat, applying shampoo and brushing it out, while Zeus remained calm and observant throughout.
After the bath, the dog was towel-dried and then further dried using a "power dryer". The groomer admitted his surprise at Zeus's calm demeanor, saying: "Thankfully he sits there for me. I was kinda afraid he'd be jumpy and really hard to hold in the tub," but Zeus was impeccably behaved.
To finish, the groomer treated Zeus's coat with a spritz of avocado mist and gave him a thorough ten-minute brushing session. Zeus was then adorned with a stylish green bandana, completing the pampering session.
In the comments, viewers quickly defended the breed. One commenter noted: "You know everyone says Rottweilers are mean, but single one I have ever met in my 32 years are GIANT BABIES."
Another expressed their love for the breed, calling them "great big teddy bears." A fellow TikToker added: "He's a big sweet boy."
While Rottweilers may not be the best fit for families with small children, they can thrive with mature teenagers. It's important to get puppies from reputable breeders and provide proper training.
For those who aren't able to make that commitment, it might be worth considering a different breed.
