Disgusted Love Island fans all say same thing after heart rate challenge
Love Island fans were in for a treat on Tuesday night’s episode as they were graced with the classic heart rate challenge.
However, although it looked like the Islanders were having the time of their lives, it doesn’t look like viewers at home were thinking the same. They took to X, formerly known as Twitter to comment on an act which was making them rather queasy, as the Islanders proceeded to lick each others fingers during the saucy challenge.
Another questioned: “Why were multiple fingers being licked?”
“The finger licking is throwing me off,” complained another fan. “The licking of the fingers.. u don’t know where them hands have been!!” exclaimed another.
Another viewer even went as far as to say the act should be banned from future heart rate challenges: “They should ban finger licking now [crying emojis] fear germs.”
The challenge has been a staple moment on the ITV2 show for many years, and once again it did not disappoint.
The girls definitely dressed to impress as Harriett Blackmore stunned in a racer suit, while Nicole Samuel sent hearts racing in a devil outfit.
In fact, the outfit was so good that it had her partner Ciaran announced he thought he was ‘in love’ with her to the rest of the boys.
Despite this, his heart rate was actually raised the most by Grace Jackson, which is set to cause drama with Nicole.
The couple, who have been dubbed the ‘golden couple’ of the series have been having a bit of a rough patch lately.
Firstly, Ciaran ignored Nicole while playing a game with the boys, which didn’t go down too well with the accounts manager. Then, he made the revelation that he had slept with over 120 women, which once again, Nicole was less than impressed with.
It looks like there may now be more drama to come as Nicole found out her partner’s heart rate was raised most by Joey Essex ’s former flame, Grace.
There could also be trouble in paradise between Harriett and Ronnie Vint, as the footballers heart was raised the most by Jess, who he was formerly in a ‘love triangle’ with.
If that wasn’t enough drama for the night, new bombshells Trey Norman and Jessy Potts are set to enter the villa, and they’re taking Jess and Joey out on a date.
Grace didn’t look best impressed when the announcement was made as she could be heart shouting: “Boring!”
Wednesday night will see the arrival of the bombshells, who are set to cause a stir in the villa.
