Apparently your nipples determine your perfect lipstick shade

Apparently all those hours we’ve spent swatching lipsticks at beauty counters was a waste of time.

In a surprising twist US show, The Doctors proved that the best way to discover the most flattering lipstick shade is to match it to our nipple colour. Unconventional, yet intriguing.

The simple trick does make a lot of sense, after all nipples are a few shades darker than our skin tone and range from a dusty blush, to light honey – perfect for a subtle lip.

And if this means that we can finally ‘nip’ this beauty dilemma in the bud then it’s worth a try, right?

Woman have been quick to test out this theory in a number of different ways. While some have opted to swatch their fave nude shades actually on their boobs, that could get a little messy.

So, we’re just going to subtly stand up, nip to the loo and make a mental note of what shade to buy on our lunch break.
