Diptyque is donating 20% of its candle sales in April to NHS charities

Numerous brands around the world are currently doing their part to help with the coronavirus outbreak.

Renowned fashion houses including Louis Vuitton and Burberry are now producing protective face masks and gowns for frontline workers. While, ASOS, Rixo and several others have created charitable T-shirts.

The latest brand to help give back is French fragrance house, Diptyque.

Famous for its luxurious scented candles, the brand is donating 20% of every classic 190g Diptyque candle purchased online this month to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The label has worked together with NHS Charities Together and NHS England on the appeal, to make sure that the proceeds directly support NHS staff and volunteers in the UK.

So, if you’re in need of a little treat to help you unwind in the evening, or have already burnt through every candle in your house, head to Diptyque’s website and select your favourite classic candle.

As for what scent to choose?

Baies, a berry scent with flowery accents of rose, is one of the brands most-popular fragrances. Followed by Figuier, a Mediterranean-inspired, woody scent.

Each candle costs £47, so almost £10 of the purchase will go towards helping those caring for COVID-19 patients.

As well as giving proceeds of sales to the NHS, Diptyque has also donated 100 units of hand wash and lotion sets to Beauty Banks #HELPINGHANDS campaign, which is focused on serving frontline key workers.
