How did Kourtney Kardashian and Addison Rae become friends?
As one of the most famous families in the world the Kardashians have some pretty influential pals, from the Hadids to the Biebers, they've always had friends in high places. But how did 19-year old TikTok star Addison Rae suddenly become best mates with Kourtney, seemingly overnight?
Yesterday Kourtney posted several pictures of her and Rae by the pool at Kourtney's house, including one of Kourtney standing over Rae with an old-school camera while they both pose in bikinis and another of them arm in arm in the water. Followers instantly began commenting on the picture asking about the pair's friendship. One comment read, "Imagine doing TikTok for a laugh then becoming friends with a kardashian," while another asked, "Addison really out here with the kardashians."
It all started in January when Kourtney enlisted the help of David Dobrik to launch her son Mason's TikTok account (of course). The Kardashians have had cameos on Dobrik's YouTube channel before, so he's already a regular part of the Kardashian friendship roster.
In March Dobrik got Addison Rae involved in Mason's TikTok venture, but according to Rae, it was the friendship between her and Kourtney that really blossomed.

"I met Kourtney through a friend, through David," Rae told The Tom Ward Show last month."We surprised Mason, because Mason liked my videos on TikTok."
"I kind of just stuck around and we got really close," she said. "We started working out together. We did a video on her YouTube of us doing a butt workout and stuff, so that was fun."
