DeWitt shop owner to speak at May 21 Quilters Guild meeting

May 17—FULTON, Ill. — Sherri Freyermuth owner of Heartland Cottons in DeWitt, will be the speaker at The River Cities Quilters Guild meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, at Fulton Presbyterian Church.

Freyermuth's passion for quilting was passed down through the generations of her family and she wanted others to discover the joy of quilting so she opened her shop in 2011.

The subject of her presentation will be "This 'n That" with various topics about quilting, mental health in quilting, raw edge appliqué, Studio 180 tools, and the All Iowa Shop Hop to name a few.

Anyone interested in fiber arts is welcome to attend.
