Demi Moore's sheer shaggy-hem mini dress and matching gloves are so demure
Move over Jools Lebron, we've officially got a new poster girl for the viral ‘very demure, very mindful’ TikTok trend. Enter: Demi Moore.
The 61-year-old actress is in the midst of a career renaissance (or, as many are referring to it, the Demi-ssance) after her new horror thriller movie, The Substance, debuted at the Cannes Film Festival back in May to critical acclaim. Pair that with the fact she slayed every red carpet look going while in the French Rivieria – we're talking monochrome sculptural gowns, sequinned floor-sweepers and prim polka dots – and it's no surprise she has our attention. And we're not the only ones who've taken note.
Just days after sharing photos from her Interview Magazine photoshoot, in which she put a demure spin on naked dressing in a see-through Saint Laurent bodysuit and skirt, Demi has modelled an array of equally mindful ensembles, this time for Variety.
In one shot, she dons a brown Alaïa mini dress, the risqué nature of the sheer bodice contrasted with a high roll neck and short sleeves and finished with a shaggy bubble hem. Paired with coordinating brown leather gloves with shaggy cuffs that extend all the way up Demi's forearms, the 'fit is very considerate indeed.
Similarly, the navy Chloé sweater and knit micro shorts set worn with Calzedonia tights is a demure take on the no trousers look loved by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber. Talk about an autumnal dream.
