Davina McCall has revealed her scar after undergoing brain surgery, with the TV presenter showing it to her fans in a video. The TV presenter announced last month that medical professionals had detected a benign tumour - a colloid cyst - in her brain that needed to be removed.

After undergoing the invasive operation in November, Davina has now showed off her scar as she received a haircut from her partner Michael Douglas. In an Instagram livestream on Saturday, Michael began lifting Davina's hair, saying: "People think you've got really thick hair but it's actually quite thin."

After turning round in mock outrage, Davina explained: "I used to have lots of hair but I had babies." She added that she also "lost a big chunk" of hair after her surgery, as she lifted her locks to show the scar.

"It's all healed, it's a bit crusty," she told the camera." With Davina wincing during one part of the haircut, Douglas apologised before telling the camera, "She normally likes it rough," leading Davina to call Michael "naughty".

My Mum Your Dad host Davina revealed in November that she would be taking a two-month break to recover from the surgery. After the operation, Michael took to social media to update Davina's fans on how she was doing.

"Update- Mega progress these last 24 hours," he wrote, adding: "Massive relief to see some light breaking through. Thanks for all the good vibes coming in from all angles. Up and Up. Thanks so much to all the well wishers.

"She really has made an enormous leap forward in the last 24 hours. She is out of ICU. She is 'loving awareness'. Thank you xx - Michael."

On 25 November, Davina posted her first post-surgery video to social media, having had the 14mm rare colloid cyst removed. "Hey! Thank you for the messages. It’s meant the world. Just want to thank Michael, who gets best boyfriend ever award," she said.

"Voted for by me and everyone that knows us . Also, best mum ever award to Gaby McCall. Thank you mumma. For being best grandma and mumma ever. I am feeling much better.

"Had a great nights sleep in my own bed. Have a couple of sleeps during the day which keeps my brain clear. Slowly, slowly...," she added. "Huge gratitude, and love for the world and my life and the beautiful people in it. Thank you to all my friends. You are the best.

"Thank you to Cleveland Clinic and my amazing neurosurgeon. Kevin. I love you. Thank you Sydney, Sarah, and all the amazing beautiful souls that cared for me. Get used to this. It’s going to be pouring out of me."
