Davina McCall shares workout video just weeks after brain surgery
Davina McCall certainly knows a thing or two about working out. From launching her platform, Own Your Goals, to practising her own gruelling weekly regimen, the former WH cover star definitely makes fitness a priority.
Case in point: the presenter and menopause campaigner has revealed that she's taken to the gym just a few weeks after recovering from emergency brain surgery.
She took to social to share a video of the full programme, which appeared to be a circuit of strength moves. 'Today I am back in the challenge,' she commented via voiceover in the video.
'So, am back to the gym for day 2 of strength and sculpt , with minniina today . A little warm up, 4 different exercises, a minute on each … 8 reps ( u can do more if u want) the point is .. go heavy', she captioned.
'And it’s 4 times round … then a little polisher at the end and I did a stretch after …🙌🏻👍🏻 felt a bit lost this morning… can’t really explain it properly, but this really helped .. and I’m about to have a daytime kip ! Who am I ??? 🤪🤪🤪🤪'
In the voiceover, she added: 'I did a few more [reps], because I was using slightly lighter weights, but I still found it very challenging, especially the fourth round.'

As part of the finisher, she demonstrated alternating dumbbell knee raises, which were 'actually quite hard':
Clearly buoyed up by the endorphins, she happily remarked: 'Even after just a couple of sessions, I can really see a difference.
'I've really enjoyed getting back to exercise and it's amazing what it's done for my mental health. It's helped in a major way,' she explained at the end of the video.
Commenters were supportive of her recovery. 'You're absolutely smashing it', one wrote, while others noted encouragingly: 'Great to see you back!'
It's the latest post-surgery fitness update Davina's been telling fans about. Earlier this week, she captioned a video of herself completing a short workout: 'OK I’m back training. Been walking daily. Yesterday I did 15 minutes in the gym.'
Davina revealed that she had 'lost a lot of muscle' following surgery, adding that she intended to 'eat really well and train hard.'
