Davina McCall has shared a post-surgery fitness update with fans two months after undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumour.

In November, Davina revealed that she'd been diagnosed with a benign brain tumour, which she was having surgically removed.

Following surgery, the TV presenter has shared a number of updates with fans, saying that her 'short-term memory is a bit remiss' but she's 'on the mend'.

Taking to Instagram, the former Big Brother host, who has released a number of workout videos throughout her career, revealed that she is officially back in training.

'OK I’m back training. Been walking daily. Yesterday I did 15 minutes in the gym,' she captioned a video of herself completing a short workout.

In the caption, Davina revealed that she has 'lost a lot of muscle' following surgery, adding that she intends to 'eat really well and train hard'.

Taking time to reassure fans that she won't be overdoing it, Davina said she will be "taking everything nice and slow" and 'really listening' to her body.

In the video, Davina explained that she'd 'lost a lot of cardiovascular fitness', adding that it 'felt really good to do something for my body'.

Previously addressing her short-term memory loss, Davina said she was 'feeling much better' and that she was being 'brilliantly looked after' by her family.

'Just to say that now I'm trying to sleep a lot and get better', she said. 'My short term memory really is improving a lot every day, and it has been an example to me on how much sleep helps me recover from everything.

'So if I feel a bit confused or I'm struggling to concentrate, I just go to sleep and I wake up completely renewed and refreshed so I know that my brain needs lots of sleep. And just wanted to thank you all for your ongoing support, thanks so much.'
