Every parent knows how important it is to encourage your kids to get outside and be active, and one man who’s come up with an innovative way to do this is David Beckham. Sharing a video on his instagram stories, the retired-footballer can be seen jogging the school run with Romeo, 16 and Cruz, 13.

The boys can be seen jogging along with their famous father, with David asking Cruz how many miles he was getting in before school, with Cruz replying ‘another two’. He then turns to Romeo to compliment him on his ‘new haircut’.

He captioned the video ‘so apparently it’s 3 miles to the school, well done boys.’ Plus, according to avid fans of the footballer, this isn’t the first time he’s shared videos jogging to school with his sons.

Victoria Beckham has also spoken of her love of running, saying in an interview that she wakes up at 5:30am every morning to hit the treadmill. Telling The Guardian’s Weekend Magazine her morning workout consists of 'a mix of uphill fast walking, jogging, running. That’s the only time I watch TV – boxsets, documentaries – so I look forward to that'

So next time you’re out on your early morning run, look out for the famous footballer and his kids getting some fresh air.
