Danny Jones spotted after swerving return flight with co-stars to stay in Australia with his famous wife
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp may have been packed away for 2024, but King of the Jungle Danny Jones has elected to stay in Australia for a little while longer to enjoy some family time with his wife and son. McFly star Danny and his wife, model Georgia Horsley, were spotted enjoying a snack at a cafe on the Gold Coast with their six year old son, Cooper.
After three weeks in the jungle eating rice and beans and admitting to rarely changing his underwear, Danny won I’m A Celeb on Sunday 8 December, and was seen partying the night away with his fellow campmates on Monday evening. However, while many of the celebrities, including Coleen Rooney, Barry McGuigan and GK Barry, headed back to the UK, Danny decided to stay in Australia and enjoy his win.
On Monday, he shared a video with his followers in which he was sitting in a bubble-filled hot tub, complete with a view of the city, while sipping a well-earned beer. “Cheers everyone. King of the jungle. I’ll see you all very soon,” he said. He also captioned the post, writing: “Cough cough *King’s voice* Dear loyal subjects, I can decree that one has changed one’s boxers… Thank you everyone for voting, it truly means the world. I’ll see you all very soon #imaceleb.”

Danny revealed just what life was like inside camp, and how it was harder than he had expected. "It was way harder. I hope it comes across on TV but it's real in there. You're hungry, tired, lethargic. When the calories are so low, it's doubly as hard. You're kind of excited to do a trial because you're bored but then you think 'Oh why am I here?!'"
Danny was drafted in as a replacement after Tommy Fury pulled out of the series, and he is the second member of McFly to win the show, following bandmate Dougie Poynter’s win in 2011.
In his interview with hosts Ant and Dec as he left the jungle as the winner of the show, Danny said: "I can't even talk, this is surreal! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I gave my all, I gave myself and it's a lovely feeling to be liked. Thank you so much, I appreciate it so much. I've learned so much about myself and that's because of the campmates in there. I've had some of the hardest times I've ever had but the highs are some of the highest."
