Dani Dyer issues major wedding update as she opens up on 'difficult' decision
Dani Dyer has issued a major wedding update ahead of her nuptials to footballer fiancé Jarrod Bowen. The former Love Island star, who shares two year old twins Summer and Star with the West Ham player, got engaged back in July and since then has been busy documenting the wedding planning process.
In a new update, Dani, 28, addressed questions from fans about the wedding in a Q&A on her Instagram Story on Saturday, 28 December. As part of the discussion, the TV personality revealed her plans to change her surname as she explained how she’d adopt a double barrel surname.
During the catch-up, one fan asked: “Will you be keeping Dyer, or changing it to Bowen?” In response, Dani explained: “I’m gonna double barrel So Dyer-Bowen”.

Also, during the catch-up, the mum-of-three was asked about the size of her big day. One question read: “Are you having a small intimate wedding or a big one? I can’t wait to see your dress.”
Replying to the fan, Dani revealed that it would be as “small” as possible and added that she’s found putting together a guest list “difficult”. She revealed: “I would say it’s as intimate and small as it can be I honestly see why people go and elope & then have a big party because the guest list honestly found soooo difficult!!
“I’m getting married in like 5 months I can’t believe it. I’m so excited for you all to see..”
The special update comes five months after Dani and Jarrod got engaged while on holiday in Spain. To announce the news, Dani shared a photo of herself and Jarrod, holding her hand up to the camera to show off her ring. “Us forever,” she wrote.
Fans and celebrity friends of the pair rushed to share their congratulations following the news. “Yayyyy congratulations!!,” commented singer Pixie Lott. “So happy for you,” added Georgia Steel.
Over recent months the TV icon has given fans a peek inside the wedding planning process and in November she revealed that she’d said yes to the dress. After visiting the Suzanne Neville bridal shop, Dani found the perfect dress for her wedding on what she called “the most perfect day”.
In response to the update, fans gushed over Dani’s bridal looks. “Making me tear up!!! Going to be the most beautiful bride,” wrote one. “How so very exciting Dani, you’re going to look so beautiful! Exciting times are most certainly ahead of you,” added another.
