Dancing on Ice star welcomes first baby with One Direction singer Liam Payne's ex girlfriend
Congratulations are in order for Dancing On Ice star Sonny Jay and his girlfriend Danielle Peazer who have revealed that they have welcomed their first child together.
The doting parents, who have been in a relationship since 2023, revealed the news on Sunday, 12 May when they shared a heartwarming video on social media in which they introduced their baby daughter to the world.
“And then there were 3…She’s here and she’s perfect,” they wrote.
In response to the sweet clips, friends and fans of the couple flooded the comments with messages of support, with Perrie Edwards writing: “Omg Congratulations gorgeous! Enjoy every second of that perfect baby bubble.”
Meanwhile, Olly Murs commented: “Awww huge congratulations.” Sian Welby, who worked with Sonny on Capital Breakfast, added: “Why am I crying! Im so happy for you both”.
Following the messages of support, 35 year old Danielle, who was previously in a relationship with One Direction's Liam Payne, thanked social media users for their well wishes and revealed that she was “so overwhelmed” by the response as she described the “beautiful chaos” that is parenting.
“So overwhelmed by all of the lovely comments and messages on baby girls arrival. Thank you so much,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
“Life has been the most beautiful chaos since she was born - there have been highs higher than I ever thought possible but the emotional and hormonal rollercoaster has also been intense at times. We’re finding our way with the help and support of friends and family whilst creating our own story on this new family.”
The new mum then went on to pay tribute to her doting partner Sonny – who won Dancing On Ice in 2021 and who fans will remember from Britain's Got Talent as a part of boy band Loveable Rogues – as she explained that there was nobody else she’d want to be navigating parenthood with.
She wrote: “I 100000% could not and wouldn’t want to do this with anyone but @sonnyjay - by my side at every moment and already the best daddy. I can’t believe I’m a mummy, now time to figure out what I’m meant to be doing and give baby girls everything she deserves and more.”
The pair’s exciting announcement comes five months after they revealed that they were expecting a baby together, with Danielle announcing that they were about to embark on their “biggest adventure yet”.
“It's a secret we've been keeping for a while, enjoying this little bubble of excitement and preparing for our biggest adventure so far. But now we feel ready to share this journey with you, including the highs (and inevitable tantrums) it will bring. Arriving Spring 2024," she wrote in January as they made the happy news public.
