Dame Judi Dench enjoys Chelsea Flower Show with her daughter, Finty
Dame Judi Dench arrived at this year's Chelsea Flower Show today (22 May) for the event's preview day, ahead of opening to the public.
The Hollywood star attended the show in the grounds of the Royal Chelsea Hospital to kick off Chelsea week, which is open to general visitors (with tickets) from Tuesday 23 May.
Dame Judi looked chic in an all-white ensemble, opting for a long jacket with an angular cut and statement buttons over a white shirt and trousers.
Dame Judi wore a folded cream craft draped over one shoulder which was embellished with a delicate sequin pattern.
Dame Judi Dench attended the event with her daughter, Finty Williams, who wore a contrasting monochrome look in all-black. Finty paired a mesh-layered skirt and chunky boots with a fitted blazer and chain-edged clutch bag.
Last year, Dame Judi was seen on the Gaze Burvill stand at the event. She was taking part in a new campaign to promote the importance of woodland management, according to a release from the Royal Horticultural Society.
During a live demonstration, an oak timber round was carved with key dates from throughout her life and career.
Dame Judi was all smiles throughout the event, which she attended wearing all white, with a long-line blue blazer over the top.
The star is a regular at Chelsea Flower Show and, for the 2021 September event, she officially opened the Queen's Green Canopy Garden which was created in honour of Her Majesty's Jubilee tree planting scheme.
Also in attendance at this year's show is fellow Dame, Dame Joanna Lumley, who was spotted in the Great Pavillion and out exploring the gardens, including Horatio's Garden designed by Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg.
