Dakota Johnson Wore a Flirty Cropped Blazer and Matching Midi Skirt at ‘Madame Web’ Event
Dakota Johnson has begun her press tour for upcoming Spider-Man spin-off movie, Madame Web, premiering this Valentine’s Day.
On January 31, Johnson joined the cast in London for a photo-call at Claridge’s Hotel. Johnson put a flirty twist on business attire, wearing a cropped black blazer with a scooping neckline and matching midi skirt. She added a pair of black pointed-toe pumps. Her long, hazelnut hair was loosely curled and almost reached her waist.
Also in attendance was costar Tahar Rahim and director S. J. Clarkson.
Earlier this month, Johnson revealed to Entertainment Weekly that filming Madame Web was quite the experience.
“I got to do a day of stunt driving work, and I’m really good at it, it seems! I mean, I can do some really wild things with a car. I drove an ambulance. I drove a taxicab,” she recalled. “I drove everything in the movie—except for flying through the air and out of a building. But other than that, I’m like, ‘Watch out, Tom Cruise.’”
Johnson also admitted the she didn’t feel too confident about taking the role.
“I got sent this script, and I was like, ‘I don’t know about me being a superhero,’” she said, adding her feelings changed after she learned more about the character.
“I was sort of mystified by her powers,” Johnson explained. “I felt like, ‘Oh, I really would love to see that superhero. I would love to see a young woman whose superpower is her mind.’”
