Dakota Johnson Says There Were "Weird Dynamics" and "People Didn't Speak to Each Other" on Set of 'The Office'
In case you forgot / didn't even notice due to her looking pretty unrecognizable with blonde hair and no bangs, Dakota Johnson had a cameo on The Office during the show's finale. And apparently filming wasn't a great experience.
"That was honestly the worst time of my life," she said on Late Night With Seth Meyers. "I love that show so much, and they were like, 'Do you want to be in the series finale?' And I was like, 'Of course,' thinking that I’d show up for, like, half a day. I was there for two weeks and I’m barely in the fucking show."
"They were sad. And also, like, there were weird dynamics that had been going on for the last 10 years," she said, adding "Some people didn’t speak to each other, and I’m coming in like, ‘Hahaha, I’m so excited to be here,’ and no one wanted to talk to me, nobody gave a fuck. Sorry I'm swearing so much, it's 'cause I had a glass of champagne. It's their fault. And I was in the background of all of these scenes, faxing things. I don't know."
Truly not sure who in the cast wasn't on speaking terms by the time The Office ended, but obviously will be focusing on literally nothing else for the remainder of the day.
Oh, and before we go, Seth went ahead and complimented Dakota's background acting skills, saying
“Can I tell you I recently watched it and it was some of the most believable faxing I’ve ever seen. And a lot of people I think mail it in when they’re in the background of those shows.”
