Daisy Edgar Jones chopped off her hair and got a short, shaggy bob for autumn

If you've just been to your hairdresser for that dreaded autumn hair refresh (read: a five-hour dye job): firstly, same and secondly, it's time to go back because we have yet another chic hair-spo look for the new season (sorry, not sorry). But don't worry, it doesn't require any bleach or even maintenance for that matter, as it is the timeless, shaggy bob.

The latest celebrity culprit to give us a case of hair envy is actor and star of the newly-released Where the Crawdads Sing, Daisy Edgar Jones. Or, others may know her from her performance in Normal People... IYKYK. But back to my point – Daisy has only gone and chopped a good few inches off the ends of her locks.

To embrace the bob in all its glory, first, let's take a look at Daisy's locks prior to the cut. As shown below, they sat perfectly at chest length.

And now, the big reveal. Celebrity (and royal) hairstylist, George Northwood took to Instagram to debut his latest work on Daisy, posting two mirror snaps. Letting the pics do all the talking, George kept the caption short and sweet, writing: "Chopped @daisyedgarjones ✂️❤️🌼".

With such a drastic cut, we can now see a colour change in Daisy's hair. No, she hasn't dyed it (we don't think) but instead, her natural tone is coming through more as the bleached ends are almost all gone. Perhaps just like Phoebe Dynevor she's entering a new era for autumn. We love to see it.

Oh, and if this transformation wasn't enough to get you booked in with the salon, then just take a look at Kourtney Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst and Lili Reinhart's new bobs, too.

Once again, sorry not sorry...
