This new curling tool is "flying off the shelves"
As much as I love a full head of curls, the process of getting there can be a nuisance. After half an hour of contorting my arms and holding my curling wand at all sort of weird angles, it practically feels like a workout.
So naturally, you can imagine my relief when I heard that mdlondon has launched the brand new CURL Multi Curling Wand, designed especially for ease and efficiency. Hair expert Michael Douglas explains the simple inspiration behind the launch – “I was missing a curling wand in my kit that I could rely on to give me the curls I wanted and be easy to use.”
To achieve just that, the handle on the new tool sits at a right angle. With four interchangeable styling barrels for a range of curl effects, this means much less arm ache, and a much speedier process. GH’s favourite Davina McCall loves it for a low-effort option: “CURL is a must-have. I am generally pants at doing my own hair – I’m pretty sure Michael makes his tools with me in mind!”
Michael explains: “I love using the reverse conical barrel on Davina's hair – it's thinner at the base and thicker at the end which creates a tighter curl at the roots and a looser curl at the end, giving more body and a more tousled look. It literally takes 15 minutes and looks so fresh and modern."
