‘Criminal Minds’ Fans Say Paget Brewster “Made Their Night” With a Surprise Photo From Set
Fans are eager for any news about Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2, and Paget Brewster is increasing the excitement with a surprise update she shared from set.
The actress is currently filming the next installment of the hit TV series, and she gave folks a peek behind the scenes with a new photo she posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). As she posed alongside co-stars Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler and A.J. Cook, she joked how she technically wasn't supposed to share the inner workings of shooting the show. What's more, she captioned the sweet moment with a teasing reference to her previous exits from the show.
"I’ll take the blame and be in trouble. I don’t think they can fire me again," she wrote on March 16. "Love from the Ladies of @criminalminds."

Given how the cast and crew of Criminal Minds are keeping things hush-hush about what's to come, seeing the quartet of women back together had people overjoyed in the comments
"THIS JUST MADE MY NIGHT. MY WEEK. MY YEAR," one person proclaimed on X. "This is pumping me up!!!!!! I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!" another exclaimed. "We’ve been missing the Criminal Minds ladies content! Thank you for this, Paget! 🫶," a different follower declared.
Needless to say, this new image of the BAU ladies has us completely intrigued about what's coming. Thankfully, we know the whole crew will be back on our screens soon. Plus, we have some key clues about Paget's character's future.
When showrunner Erica Messer spoke to TVLine in late February about where Emily Prentiss is at the beginning of the new season, she shared how the BAU chief is "struggling...quite a bit" with the death of FBI Deputy Director Doug Bailey (Nicholas D'Agosto). Alongside this, she and the other members of the unit are investigating a secret project called "Gold Star," which was hinted at during the season 1 finale, with a cliffhanger featuring UnSub Elias Voit (Zach Gilford) sitting in an interrogation room, ready to discuss what he knows.
We need the new episodes of Criminal Minds: Evolution airing ASAP!
