Martha Stewart broke the news on her COVID-19 diagnosis on June 21, revealing she was not going to be able to attend a Mario Badescu event that was very important to her. She wrote: "I am feeling fine but i am sticking to the rules and isolating. "I’m heartbroken to be missing the celebration of over 50 years of amazing skincare and the launch of ‘The Martha Facial’ at their NYC flagship - which is a special offer of the facial I’ve been receiving there for more than forty years! Known for her role as Amy in ‘The Big Bang Theory’, actress Mayim Bialik revealed on June 19 she had tested positive, while noting she was vaccinated. She told her Instagram fans in a video: "It's very exhausting, the exhaustion is very special. I had mononucleosis when I was in college and the exhaustion hits like that where you cannot be awake. On June 13, only one day after attending the 2022 Tony Awards, ‘X-Men’ star Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to reveal his own diagnosis. He said: “I wanted you guys to hear it from me first that, unfortunately, this morning I have frustratingly tested positive for COVID again." On June 13, The Rolling Stones announced on their official Twitter account that they would be postponing one of their concerts in Amsterdam, following frontman Sir Mick Jagger’s coronavirus diagnosis. Part of the statement read: “The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry for tonight’s postponement. The safety of the audience, fellow musicians and touring crew must take priority.” - 6/11

TV host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel did not hesitate on joking about his COVID diagnosis. On May 17, he took to Twitter and wrote: “I’m such a positive person, I tested positive AGAIN.” He then added that he was feeling fine. - 7/11
Eric Clapton
Legendary guitarist Eric Clapton has been a vocal vaccine skeptic throughout the pandemic. He later tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year, which forced him to postpone some concerts in Europe. A statement posted on the musician’s Facebook page on May 16 read: "It is very frustrating that having avoided Covid throughout lockdown and throughout the period when travel restrictions have been in place Eric should have succumbed to Covid at this point in time, but we very much hope he will be sufficiently recovered by the end of the week to be able to perform the remainder of the planned performances.” - 8/11

Comedian Amy Schumer had to cancel her Los Angeles Netflix is a Joke Festival at Ace Hotel, on May 7, following her COVID-19 positive test. In an Instagram video she said: "I am sad to say I have to cancel my show in LA tonight. I am the first woman to ever get COVID. "I tested positive for COVID-19 about an hour ago, so yeah, please, I don't know [what to say], but at least my hair looks good." - 9/11

On May 4, ‘The Talk’ star Sharon Osbourne posted on Instagram a picture of herself in bed, which read the word "covid" between two angry emojis. Sharon then said that she believed she probably got the virus from husband Ozzy Osbourne, who tested positive a couple of days before. - 10/11

On April 5 and following a positive COVID test, Matthew Broderick was forced to cancel some of his Broadway shows, in which he stars with wife Sarah Jessica Parker. Two days later it was announced that the ‘And Just Like That…’ had gotten the virus too. Daniel Craig - known for multiple James Bond films - tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2, a couple of days before performing on Broadway, on ‘Macbeth’. A statement was posted on the play’s Twitter account, confirming the news and informing that his shows would be cancelled.
